‘A Crafty Wonderland’ to Benefit CDR Nov. 26
Since 2020, volunteer Crafters Care Events organizer Kim Mucha of Northford has been developing craft sales and other community events and offerings which also assist local charitable organizations.
On Sunday, Nov. 26, to continue the drive to assist those in need, Mucha has organized an event to benefit non-profit Community Dining Room (CDR). Based in Branford, CDR provides free, hot, and nutritional meals to residents of Branford, North Branford, East Haven, and Guilford.
Mucha’s event to benefit CDR, “A Crafty Wonderland at The Woodwinds,” will take place Sunday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Woodwinds at 29 School Ground Road in Branford. Over 55 vendors will be participating in the unique holiday shopping event. Santa will be on hand. Guests may also purchases food that will be available, as well as beverages, including those from the bar. The event’s $5 entry fee benefits CDR.
At the Crafters Care Events Facebook page, Mucha noted, “So many amazingly talented hand crafted artisans will be setting up to sell their wares for all your holiday shopping needs! Support small business... give back to a non-profit doing so much good to help families in need.”
