Press release from North Haven Leo Club

The North Haven Leo Club started the new school year off with a bang. At the first meeting of the new school year in September, the new North Haven Leo Club executive board and board of directors were officially inducted into their offices. This year’s officers include Hannah Leamon as president, Alyssa Cherian as vice president, Nina Novicki as treasurer, Amelia Shaw as secretary, and Gabby Espinosa, Eli Feinberg, Emma Gill, Jack Green, and Hanako Moffat as the board of directors. The Leos’ first fundraiser of the new year was a rousing success. Selling Aloha leis to wear at the North Haven High School Beach Day football game on Oct. 6, the Leo Club raised $400 for the Hawaii Community Foundation to support and rebuild Maui after the devastating wildfires this past August.

The North Haven Leo Club is a youth community service organization sponsored by the North Haven Lions and is open to any North Haven resident between the ages of 12-18 years old.
