The North Branford girls volleyball team held a fundraiser collecting bottles and cans for the program on Oct. 22 at the high school. The team has qualified for the state tournament for the first time since 2005, with tournament play beginning Nov. 6. Savanah Stewart, Elisa O’Connor, and Brianna Kundrath, stand with fellow teammates at the entrance to the school.
