On Oct. 17, North Branford High School (NBHS) hosted the induction of 23 students into the Totoket Chapter of the National Honor Society at NBHS.
A ceremony was held at the North Branford auditorium with family, friends, and staff on hand to celebrate this important event. The national standards for the National Honor Society include scholarship, community service, character, and leadership. Students were required to apply and then moved through an application process prior to being selected. Current members of the chapter led the ceremony, with faculty advisor Abigail Detour organizing the event.
Totoket Chapter of the National Honor Society president Sabrina Lin, vice president Samantha D’Aria, secretary Elizabeth Sigal, treasurer Sienna Brigance, leadership member Patricia Mone, and leadership member Nicole Timario spoke during the induction ceremony.
The new inductees are Noah Allen, Ashley Amendola, Olivia Cahill, Nathan Danner, Lucian DePino, Gabrielle Dion, Benjamin Esposito, Alexa Falcioni, Catherine Hannan, Mary Hannan, Joshua Higgins, Adriana Hills, Daytona Kamienski, Marley Krebs, Giana McCullough, Karma Melillo, Samantha Melillo, Jack Monde, Cassandra Munck, Juliana Onofrio, Preet Patel, Aaliyah Rizzuti, and Sofia Spanier.
