DRES Students Exhibit Coral Reef Artwork
Press Release from Deep River Elementary School
The students of Deep River Elementary School, led by their art teacher, Diana DeWolf-Carfi, have been hard at work crafting painted clay sculptures to exhibit during the Wee Faerie Village Fathom Heights at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme. Each student has contributed to creating an underwater home for sea faeries and other aquatic life of the coral reef. The students have used their faerie environment to promote awareness of the importance of the coral reef and the effects we have on it.
The exhibit will be on display until Sunday, Oct. 29. For more information, visit www.florencegriswoldmuseum.org.
