To Obtain Food Assistance

The Branford Food Pantry provides weekly supplemental groceries (this can include the following: meat or poultry, milk, eggs, assorted fresh and canned vegetables, cereal, peanut butter and jelly, and other food staples, as well as healthy snacks for school-aged children) to Branford individuals and families. To obtain groceries, you must be a Branford resident and provide proof of residency. Driver’s licenses are not acceptable. You must provide a bill with your name and Branford address. Also, please bring reusable bags to carry your groceries.

The Ongoing Need

The Branford Food Pantry is providing food support to more Branford residents than ever before. The pantry relies on Connecticut FoodShare (formerly CT Foodbank), extensive support from local grocery stores (Stop & Shop, Big Y and Shop Rite), careful purchasing of additional items and on both monetary and non-perishable food donations to support its work.
