Essex Winter Series Awarded Grant Funding from CFMC

Essex Winter Series is grateful to once again be one of many recipients of funding from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County. For the upcoming year, the $2,750 amount received from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County / Guilford Savings Bank Charitable Fund and St. Luke’s Home Fund provides funding in part for our educational outreach to schools and senior communities in Middlesex County, which each year touches the lives of more than 2,000 individuals.

This funding is a boon for Essex Winter Series and other nonprofits. Our goal for 47 years has been to bring the finest music to our community … not just a small sector but the greater community. Susan Guernsey, President of the Essex Winter Series Board of Trustees, states that, “This funding will help our organization to continue its mission, but more importantly, give EWS the freedom to explore how we can expand our enrichment to a wider audience.”
