The Guilford Police Department will once again host National Night Out (NNO) on Friday, Oct. 6 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Guilford Town Green. National Night Out is an annual event that promotes community-police partnerships and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more-caring places to live.
NNO enhances relationships between law enforcement and community members and provides an opportunity to bring police and the public together under positive circumstances. The event is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.
There will be a DJ, games and contests for kids, inflatables, food trucks, and more. Custom “I Love Guilford” T-shirts will be launched from a T-shirt cannon. The Guilford Fire Department will be on scene for a touch-a-truck, and representatives from other town departments will be there to answer questions. Local businesses and organizations will also be there and may even have some free giveaways.
