Law Fair Returns to Quinnipiac University
Representatives from more than 50 law schools around the country will gather at Quinnipiac University School of Law on Thursday, Sept. 7, when the Connecticut Law Fair returns.
The fair is designed to give prospective law students an opportunity to learn more about the school admissions process as well as the various academic programs and career services available at the participating schools. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
“For anyone considering law school, a fair like this is a real benefit,” said Joan Metzler, associate dean of law admissions and financial aid at Quinnipiac. “You’ll hear from schools you are familiar with—and have a chance to learn about new ones. Talking one-on-one with the law school representatives is a great opportunity to ask your own questions and gain real insights. We’re really pleased and proud to be hosting this event.”
The fair also features a pre-fair panel with representatives from the East Meets West Law Consortium who are expected to break down what prospective students need to know about the application process, including LSATs, personal statements, resumes, and character and fitness disclosures. The consortium includes Quinnipiac Law, New York Law School, Howard University, Roger Williams University School of Law, Southwestern Law School, and the University of Washington School of Law.
The fair is at the Quinnipiac University School of Law, 370 Bassett Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.
The panel and fair are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is requested. Walk-ins are also welcome. To register, visit go.qu.edu/lawfair.
