First Selectman Jamie Congrove tests Troop 633 Scout Jonathan Loffredo’s knowledge of bird calls following the ribbon cutting of his Eagle Scout project at the Pisgah Brook Preserve on July 29. Loffredo’s project utilizes QR codes along the trail to give information and the calls of 10 birds native to the area. The project also includes benches where walkers can take a break to watch the new feathered residents of the colony birdhouse nearby.
