The Branford Historical Society proudly announces its most recent business member, Gracious Gifts and Home, 116 Montowese Street, Branford.

Gracious Gifts and Home proprietors Elaine and Zoe Johnson are a mother and daughter who comprise a dynamic team that has added a new dimension to the retail business. The business was conceived with the idea of procuring unique gifts and home goods and providing a space for local artisans to showcase their creative items. Also incorporated is a special outreach to exceptional artists, from original artwork, pottery, aromatherapy products, candles, shell art, and more. Available for sale are coasters reproduced from vintage Branford postcards, which benefit the historical society.

The mission of the Branford Historical Society is to discover, protect, and preserve the history of Branford, Connecticut, by the acquisition and preservation of artifacts, documents, and records of Branford provenance and to actively promote the town’s history to the community. It maintains the integrity of the Harrison House Museum and property on Main Street. Business members not only enjoy the benefits of regular membership but are also entitled to the society’s website listing and promotions.
