On May 13, the North Haven Garden Club held its annual May Market Fundraiser at the North Haven Recreational Center. This was the second year that the club chose to have the May Market held inside, even though the sun was shining outside.

In total, there were 19 vendors who participated in the May Market Fundraiser, two of which chose to be outside in the sunshine. The club displayed 18 hanging baskets and three kinds of tomatoes, along with herbs, vegetable plants, geraniums, and a large selection of annuals for sale. There were also a large selection of homegrown perennials dug from the yards of club members, as well as the donation of several perennials from the yards of two members.

The May Market proved a big success with a steady flow of people coming to browse the tables of vendors and the club. The North Haven Garden Club thanks the community for its support in helping to make this event a success.
