Men Over Sixty Set to Solve Mystery
The Shoreline Men Over Sixty organization has asked Madison Harbor Master Steve Adkins and Fran Brady of Mad4Trees to present on the topic of the rubber pieces at Meigs Point at the organization's Friday, June 2 meeting.
This is a club lunch and talk, but all are invited to attend with advanced notice can attend. The cost is $15 and includes a meal and a 45-minute presentation with Q&A.
One topic of discussion will be the mysterious chunks of rubber washing up on Slip Shell Beach at Hammonasset; there will be no definitive answers given, only several hypotheses.
The luncheon menu is meatloaf with mashed potatoes, carrots, gravy, and dessert.
The meeting is on Friday, June 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hubley Hall at the First Congregational Church of Madison, 26 Meeting House Lane. Reservations are requested, and admission is $15.
