Dudley Farm Brunch May 21
The Dudley Foundation invites friends and neighbors of The Dudley Farm Museum to Brunch in the Barn Sunday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Munger Barn on the Dudley Farm Museum grounds. After a COVID-induced hiatus, the Foundation is ready to celebrate many accomplishments, including the inclusion of the Dudley Farm Historic District as one of two historic districts in North Guilford, now on the National Register of Historic Places. Catered by Guilford’s Marketplace at Guilford Food Center, the event will offer good food, good friends, and good music.
Developing exhibits will be open for viewing, including a sneak peek at our Quinnipiac Dawnland Museum and the new Milkhouse exhibit. Visitors will be encouraged to explore the grounds and tour the 1845 Farmhouse while learning how preserving the Museum’s many 19th-century agricultural buildings and tools contributes to the historic fabric of Guilford.
A silent auction will feature many items donated for the event by local artisans and the vendors who participate in our weekly Farmers’ Market. Of special interest are paintings done by local artists, including Jay Babina of Branford, Pam Morgan of Guilford, and our own Jerri Guadagno, secretary for The Dudley Foundation.
Brunch in the Barn is on Sunday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Munger Barn at The Dudley Farm, 2351 Durham Road, Guilford.
Tickets are limited to 80 and are $45 per person. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 203-457-0770 or email director@dudleyfarm.com.
