A public workshop has been set for Tuesday, May 16, to help gather input for the Branford Athletic Fields Strategic Plan. The meeting will be the first workshop to gather community input and insight to help develop the plan.

Interested community members can attend the workshop on Tuesday, May 16, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m, at the Joe Trapasso Community House, 46 Church Street, in the second-floor multi-function room.

The Town of Branford recently engaged BL Companies to develop an Athletic Fields Strategic Plan. Community input and insight is an important component of the future of Branford's athletic fields, said First Selectman James B. Cosgrove.

"Whether you participate in organized league play, or recreational sports, your input is important. The plan will provide a vision and road map for future athletic field development in the town of Branford,“ said Cosgrove.

The workshop will be conducted with representatives from BL Companies and community-based sports facility consulting group Sports Facilities Advisory.
