Bausch+Stroebel Celebrates State-of-the-Art Facility Grand Opening in Branford

Branford-based Bausch+Stroebel Machine Company hosted the grand opening of their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on May 1. The new facility located at 10 Thompson Road features a three-story office building and manufacturing area, covering a total of almost 55,000 square feet, which will greatly expand operational capabilities.
“We have been investing in Connecticut for 40 years now and are looking ahead to many more decades of growth here,” said Oliver Schmidt, General Manager of Bausch+Stroebel. “Our customer base continues to expand and our employees continue to drive us forward by producing the world's highest quality filling and packaging equipment for the pharmaceutical industry. Our ongoing investment in work force, facilities and equipment will allow us to meet our ongoing customers' needs."

The company headquarters – located in Germany – was founded more than 50 years ago and expanded its operations to Connecticut in 1983. First located in Clinton, Bausch+Stroebel moved to North Branford in 2007, and then to their own facility in Branford in late 2022 to accommodate its increasing business needs. The company currently employs approximately 50 people in Connecticut, and will be adding an additional 50 to 100 jobs over the next few years to accommodate the continued increase in business.
