State Representative Chris Aniskovich (R-35) and Senator Norm Needleman (D-33) are hosting an in-person informational forum on The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) for area residents who interested in learning more about the role that the agency plays rate regulation. The event is taking place at Westbrook Town Hall at 866 Boston Post Road in Westbrook on Monday, May 1 from 6 to 7 p.m.

At the forum, Marissa Paslick Gillett, Chairman of PURA, will provide background information on the agency, along with what PURA regulates and how the public can engage with them, in addition to info on accessing PURA docket materials, monthly electric bills, and third-party suppliers. There will also be a question-and-answer period provided at the conclusion of the forum.
