04/18/2023 12:30 PMThree recruits for the Madison Police Department graduated from the Connecticut Police Academy on April 5 at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallinford. Chief of Police Jack Drumm, Captain Douglas Harkins, and Lieutenant Jeremy Yorke were in attendance.
Officers Francesca Moore, Avery LaChance, and John Terray completed more than 1,345 hours of various police topics at the Academy. They will continue their training with the field training program, which includes ride-alongs with veteran Madison police officers for more than 400 hours, where they will learn how to apply all they have learned at the Academy to real-life scenarios.
