Press release from First Position Media

The seventh Connecticut Spring Boat Show is taking place from Friday, April 28-Sunday, April 30 at Safe Harbor Essex Island in Essex. The in-water boat show will raise funds for Sails Up 4 Cancer (SU4C), a non-profit organization supporting cancer care, education, prevention, and research. SU4C will benefit from 50% of the ticket sales proceeds. Last year’s show raised $23,000 for the non-profit.

Show attendees will have an ideal opportunity to compare different boats, dealers, and options in one beautiful location at the boat show. In addition to boats on the docks, the show will have over 30 exhibitors on display, including yacht brokers, boat gear, artists, accessories, and service companies on the lawn.

Visitors will enjoy seeing more than 55 new and brokerage, power, and sailboat models of all sizes, including many yachts over 40 feet. On display will be the latest models offered from Arrowcat, Aviara, Axopar, Back Cove, Beneteau, Boston Whaler, Brig, Bully Bay, Catalina, 248 Center Console, Coronado, Eastbay, Elan, Everglades, Grand Banks, Jeanneau, Nimbus, Nordic Tug, North River, Pioneer, Ryck, Sabre, Scout, Sea Born, Sea Ray, SeaWay, Snug Harbor, True North, Wilbur, World Cat, X-Yachts, and many other leading boat brands.

A unique feature of the in-water show offers interested boat buyers select opportunities for sea trials throughout the weekend, thus giving prospective buyers a unique “try-before-you-buy” experience.

Happenings at the 2023 CT Spring Boat Show will include educational talks by fishing experts, live music throughout the weekend, food, and family fun. The boat show will also feature coastal lifestyle exhibits, movie premieres, and more.

Three-day CT Spring Boat Show tickets are being offered at $20 per adult and are free for children aged 13 and under. Tickets provide access to the show and talks for the entire weekend, rain or shine. Half of the proceeds will benefit SU4C, a non-profit organization and local charity that distributes funds to families impacted by cancer.
