04/11/2023 12:56 PMThe Guilford Parks and Recreation Department will host the sixth annual Earth Fest at Baldwin Middle School on Saturday, April 22.
The Trucks and Tractors portion of the event has returned thanks to local businesses contributing vehicles. Trucks and Tractors helps children connect these vehicles to possible construction, manufacturing, emergency response, sanitation careers, and many others. Children and their families will have the opportunity to touch, sit in, and explore real vehicles from a number of different industries. This year trucks have been provided by the fire, police, and public works departments, along with A&W Sanitation and SC Ballard. Other vehicles include two military trucks, Eastcoast RC Trucks, Guilford Texaco, and Yale New Haven Helicopter.
The School of Rock will provide musical entertainment during the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Other features include a photo booth, whack-a-mole, Krazy Kones. Tripledale Farm will provide a petting zoon and free mammoth donkey rides. Naples Pizza truck will also be on hand.
The sixth annual Earth Fest is on Saturday, April 22, at Baldwin Middle School, 68 Bullard Drive, Guilford, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.
