NHGC Presents Donations From the Scarecrow Contest

On Feb. 15, the North Haven Garden Club Scarecrow committee co-chairs Maria Yankura and Dianna Ramadei and Treasurer Cindy Golia presented checks to Carla Picard of North Haven Community Services and Emily Jenkins, director of the North Haven Library Children's Department. The donations were made possible by contest registration fees and donations from local businesses. With the support of the North Haven community, this was a successful fundraising effort. The donations to the library and community services had almost doubled from last year's donations.
