Westbrook Hall of Fame Seeking Nominations
Nominations and applications are now open for the newly re-established Westbrook Hall of Fame Award.
Westbrook Public Schools (WPS) is looking to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates as a model for its current and future students. WPS is proud of its graduates and looks forward to sharing and honoring their accomplishments with the community, as well as with the graduating members of the Class of 2023 as they consider their future and how they will contribute to their profession and community after graduation.
WPS is seeking nominations for Westbrook High School (WHS) alums who have excelled in their career, vocation, business, community service, sport, performing arts, or other interests that serve as a model for students to aspire on to their own journeys in the future following high school graduation.
Anyone may nominate a WHS graduate who has graduated at least 10 years prior to the nomination. All nominations will be reviewed by the WHS Knights Hall of Fame Committee. One alumnus will be selected each year and will be publicly recognized this year at the graduation ceremony at WHS on June 16.
Nominations can be made by emailing Dr. Kristina J. Martineau, Superintendent of Schools, at kmartineau@westbrookctschools.org with the following information: name of candidate, year of graduation, candidate’s contact information, your name and contact information, and the reason why you believe this candidate should be recognized as an alumnus who has excelled in their career, vocation, business, community service, sport, or performing arts.
Nominations can also be made by completing the online application form at www.westbrookctschools.org. Nominations are due no later than March 1 to be considered for June 2023 recognition.
