Branford Registrars Share State Election Voting, Registration Updates

October 18, 2022: Election Day this year will be Tuesday November 8, 2022 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
A person requesting an Absentee Ballot should call the Branford Town Clerks Office at 203-315-0678.
Persons may register to vote in person any time during the working day at the Town Hall in the Town Clerks Office. You may also register to vote in person in the Branford Registrar of Voters Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 40 Kirkham Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You must have proof of I.D.
To register by mail, a Mail-In Application may be requested from either office. You are not a voter until your completed application is approved and you receive confirmation from the Registrar of Voters Office.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL VOTER REGISTRATION SESSIONS
Tuesday November 1, 2022 The Registrars of Voters Office will be open at 40 Kirkham Street for a Special Voter Registration Session, for the purpose of new voter registration for the State Election to be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Hours 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Registration by Mail Deadline: A Mail-In- Application for a new voter must be received by the Registrar of Voters (or postmarked) by November 1, 2022 in order to be eligible.
Monday, November 7, 2022 Limited Registration Session, is the deadline for registering in person with the Registrar of Voters or Town Clerk, for those seeking to vote in election whose qualifications as to age, citizenship, or residence was attained since November 1, 2022. Applicants must appear in person with ID to register to vote, for this State Election. Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election Day Registration (EDR) location is at the Joe Trapasso Community House Multipurpose Room 46 Church Street from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day November 8, 2022
