08/29/2022 11:33 AMThe North Haven Fair celebrates its 80th anniversary on Sept. 8 through 11 with a birthday celebration on its opening day.
The fair, an annual tradition in town since 1942, features a full weekend of carnival rides, live entertainment, truck and tractor pulls, and more. Spotlight Stage Company will celebrate the Fair on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. with “80 Years of the North Haven Fair” on the Main Stage.
In addition to games, food, and carnival rides, the fair features live music performances on the Main Stage by LiveWired, Train Wreck, Pat Russo Music, and Romeo’s Bleeding - the Bon Jovi Experience. Spellbound, Bad Mannerz, Wednesday Bowling League, Furious George, JC Hill, and Akoustic Groove will perform throughout the weekend in the Gazebo. Northeast Wrestling will take over the Main Stage on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Daily events include magic and juggling by Robert Clarke, chainsaw wood carving by Sickline Carving, goat and cow milking demonstrations, a petting zoo, and more.
The 80th annual North Haven Fair is on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 5 to 10 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 9 from 3 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $5 on Sept. 8 and Sept. 11; and $10 on Sept. 9 to 10.
