The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, July 27
• A 39 year-old Seymour woman was arrested at 2:02 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree.
• A 31 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 2:04 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree.
• A 50 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 2:47 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny in the fifth degree.
• A 28 year-old man of Kimberly Avenue was arrested at 6:03 p.m. and charged with two counts of breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree on a person age 60 or older or who is pregnant or handicapped. He was processed on a $20,000 surety bond.
Thursday, July 28
• A 29 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 5:22 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, disorderly conduct, and two counts of violation of a protective order. He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.
Friday, July 29
• A 49 year-old woman of River Road was arrested at 5:31 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening in the second degree.
• A 45 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 5:49 p.m. and charged with conspiracy to commit larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 33 year-old man of Bradley Street was arrested at 8:07 p.m. on the strength of a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
Saturday, July 30
• A 19 year-old woman of Kevins Wat was arrested at 12:04 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 35 year-old man of Dewey Avenue was arrested at 12:10 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 26 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:34 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension following a motor vehicle stop on Short Beach Road.
• A 35 year-old man of Angela Drive was arrested at 10:21 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree, violation of a standing criminal protective order, conspiracy to commit violation of a standing criminal protective order, and two counts of disorderly conduct. He was processed on a combined $20,000 surety bond.
• A 72 year-old man of Leigh Drive was arrested at 7:12 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and violation of conditions of release in the second degree.
Sunday, July 31
• A 32 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 10:07 a.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor and breach of peace in the second degree.
• A 31 year-old man of George Street was arrested at 2:35 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 38 year-old man of a Mill Street apartment was arrested at 8:43 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.
Monday, Aug. 1
• A 50 year-old man of Atwater Street Extension was arrested at 5:50 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree/ He was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.
• A 35 year-old Branford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:23 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury) and unsafe backing.
• A 52 year-old woman of Mansfield Grove Road was arrested at 10 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.
Tuesday, Aug. 2
• A 34 year-old man of Church Street was arrested at 9:41 p.m. and charged with three counts of violation of probation and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
