North Branford High School Freshman Orientation is Aug.23

A one-day freshman orientation to welcome the Class of 2026 will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 9:45 a.m. to noon in the North Branford Auditorium. Both parents and students are invited to attend.

This program is intended to help incoming students make a successful transition to North Branford High School (NBHS).

During orientation, NBHS staff will review school policies and procedures, discuss school-wide support systems, and provide time for questions. In addition, a student panel will provide incoming freshmen with the opportunity to hear from current students about their experiences at NBHS.

Incoming students will also have the opportunity to pick up their school-issued Chromebooks with a parent/guardian signature.

Due to construction, all activities will take place in the auditorium. Lunch will be provided for parents and students at 11:30 a.m. in the front of the auditorium.

Freshman Orientation Schedule:

9:45 a.m. - Student Check-In, Auditorium Lobby

10 - 10:05 a.m. - Welcome

10:05 - 10:30 a.m. - Student Panel, Auditorium

10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Presentation by School Staff

11:30 a.m. - noon - Chromebook Distribution and Lunch, Auditorium Lobby

All parents/guardians of incoming freshman students will be mailed additional information.
