Owner Gus Avalos has opened a fourth location of Soccer & Rugby Imports, this one in Madison; the other three are located in Greenwich, Ridgefield, and Southport. Retired University of New Haven soccer coach Josh Krusewski serves as manager of the Madison store.

Soccer & Rugby Imports was established in 1993. The Avalos family took over the business in 2000 and began to grow it.
