Owners Maria and Mark Schreiber have opened Massage Savvy, featuring four treatment rooms, including a couple's room and a relaxation room in which patrons can enjoy refreshments before and after treatments. All rooms are equipped with hot cabbies to keep booties and mits warm.
Massage Savvy offers an introductory, full 60-minute massage session for new clients for $49. It also offers a loyalty program-patrons who come in more than once within 30 days will save $10 off any customized massage sessions.
Maria Schreiber has worked as a massage therapist since 2006. Her specialities include Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, pregnancy, and lymphatic massages. She runs the business together with her husband, Mark, who primarily focuses his time on the business and marketing. The duo has previously owned two spas, one in Guilford and one in Branford.
