Community and Wellness Fair This Saturday
The focus will be on community at the North Haven Fairgrounds Saturday, Aug. 20 with the Community and Wellness Fair.
Organized by Jeff DeLuca of Infinite Nutrition, the wellness fair is designed to bring awareness and attention to wellness and community-focused businesses and non-profit organizations in North Haven. More than 35 vendors have signed up for the event.
According to a press release issued by DeLuca, the fair is the second of its kind, the first held in May, and is held in conjunction with the North Haven Fair Craft Barn Series. The Craft Barn Series is held every third Saturday from May through November and features more than 30 craft vendors.
Our mission with these events is to showcase the best of North Haven and its surrounding friends and what awesome local businesses and organizations are available,” DeLuca said.
In addition to 35 wellness-minded vendors, the Aug. 20 event will feature water balloon games, the “Infinite Waterfall,” a touch-a-truck, kids crafts, raffle prizes, a dunk tank, and more. Proceeds from the dunk tank will support the North Haven Fair Food Drive. Coupons and menus from local restaurants will also be available.
Sponsors for the event include Infinite Nutrition, Medicarect.com, Nelson Ambulance, Guilford Savings Bank North Haven, A-Z Retnals of North Haven, and North Haven Magazine.
The Community and Wellness Fair is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20 at the North Haven Fairgrounds, 290 Washington Avenue. For more information, visit northhaven-fair.com/community-and-wellness-fair
