Life Saving Award Recognizes Actions of North Branford Police Officer Fitzgerald

On May 10, the North Branford Police Commission recognized North Branford Police Officer Kristen Fitzgerald with a Life Saving Award for her actions to save the life of a Northford resident in April. On May 9, 2022, during the Board of Police Commissioner meeting, Officer Kristen Fitzgerald received a Life Saving award for her response with North Branford Fire Department (NBFD) on April 22, 2022 which resulted in the resuscitation of an unresponsive resident in Northford.
The team response between NBFD and North Branford Police Departmen, along with the Communication 911 team, resulted in another life saved due to their training, coordination and quick response.
Thank you to all involved for going above and beyond to save this resident.
