Town of East Haven Names Jamie Cuticello Director of Administration & Management

Mayor Joseph Carfora has appointed Jamie Cuticello, 40, as director of administration & management for the Town of East Haven. In addition to his new role, Cuticello will also lead the town in economic development.

Cuticello comes to this position with more than 15 years experience in finance, project management, and military service.

“I am proud to be part of the Town of East Haven’s administration as well as its community. I look forward to offer my experience [and] leadership to the people of East Haven and look forward to being of service,” Cuticello said.

Most recently Cuticello was project lead at Travelers Insurance Company in the Strategic Planning Division specifically collaborating with business partners to drive innovation and address operational risk. Before Travelers, Cuticello served as the budget and accounting director for the Connecticut Army National Guard Theatre Aviation Support Maintenance Group, where he managed the budget and developed financial strategy.

Cuticello is a Connecticut native, graduating from Southern Connecticut University (B.S.) and Albertus Magnus College (MSM, MBA). Cuticello is a current serving member of the Connecticut Army National Guard. Commissioning from U.S. Army Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, Georgia, in 2012, Cuticello has held command and senior logistics positions both at home and abroad. Most recently in support of Operation Enduring Freedom–Horn of Africa.

Cuticello is a proud member of the 1-102nd Infantry Association as well as VFW Post 7666, and lives in Guilford with his wife and three children.

“Jamie brings us a broad scope of experience from the private sector to the military. In fact, our staff worked with Jamie while he was activated with the National Guard during a weather event. Throughout the interaction, our staff noted he was thorough and knowledgeable,” said Mayor Joseph Carfora.
