The COMMUNITY Foundation for Greater New Haven and the Blackstone Library are bringing mini golf back to Branford! On April 30 and May 1, the library will be transformed into an 18-hole mini golf course. Holes will weave throughout the library, covering all three floors. Each of the mini golf holes will have obstacles created by a local business or individual.

The entire family can come out and play on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Sunday, May 1 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person and include golf putter (available in different sizes) and golf ball. Families will enjoy seeing the variety of obstacles on each hole, and experience the thrill of the 18th hole, which travels down the stairs, going from one floor to another!

On Saturday night, April 30, once the kids have gone home, grown-ups can come and play! At 7 p.m., Mini Golf: After Hours begins, which will feature a whiskey and wine tasting (plus beer and other spirits), sponsored by Branford Wine & Liquor, in addition to the opportunity to play the course and enjoy snacks, a silent auction and prize drawings.

Tickets are on sale now at blackstonelibrary.org or at the library. Tickets will also be available at the door for each event. No physical tickets will be issued. Attendee/registrant names for pre-orders will be on a list at the door.

Interested in helping support the event? Hole sponsorship opportunities and scorecard ad space is still available. The library is also accepting donations to its silent auction and is looking for volunteers to help staff the event. The funds raised by Mini Golf at Blackstone Library and Mini Golf: After Hours will be used by the Blackstone Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity. Since 1896, the library has carried out its mission to provide essential access to information, resources, and unique shared experiences to help ensure Branford is an educated and enriched community. The legacy continues as the Blackstone celebrates 125 years of offering programs and services that engage the community, expand minds and enrich lives.
