Health District Climate Change Project Seeks Residents’ Stories
Have you been affected by climate change? Have you seen changes in your property? Have you seen more devastating heat events? Have you been impacted by hurricanes, storms, and other extreme weather events? Has your health been affected by changes in the climate through asthma, allergies or increased ticks and mosquitoes?
Many people have stories and history in this area that show that climate change has had an effect on their environment, health, property, or way of life. The East Shore District Health Department (ESDHD) Climate Change Project would like to hear your stories in your voice—pictures are welcomed.
By residents sharing personal stories and pictures, ESDHD’s project hopes to increase the discussion around climate change and perhaps find ways to decelerate the changes or find ways to manage/soften the impacts that climate change has on our local communities and each of our lives.
