Branford Flotilla Offers CT State Boating Course Online June 7 - 9
U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Branford Flotilla is offering an online, 3-session course in cooperation with the Branford Community House. The 3-session Boat America Course will be offered from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. on Monday June 7, Tuesday June 8 and Thursday June 9. No in-person classes are permitted at this time.

Registrants can sign up there for the class and pay by credit card online. After registering for the course, the text and CT Boaters Guide will be mailed to you and instructions for the Boat America course online log-in will be emailed to you. Classes are open to all Connecticut residents.
Course instruction will cover all the basic topics required for the safe operation of recreational boating and seamanship. It will also cover safe personal watercraft operation and towing. Successful completion of this 8-hour Boat America course satisfies the Connecticut licensing requirements both for boats and personal watercraft (PWC). Family participation is encouraged. Cost is $60 per person. After successful completion, you will be mailed a graduation certificate and wallet card.
