The Board of Education will vote Thursday, May 13 on a motion to retire new use of the Indians caricature from North Haven High School team imagery. The board has over the course of more than a year discussed retiring the use of both the name and imagery of the mascot and intends to continue those discussions, though the May 13 vote will be solely on retiring the Indian caricature.
