Intruder Fires into East Haven Home
The East Haven Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that occurred in the area of Kimberly Avenue and Pardee Place.
On Aug. 12 at approximately 11:39 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Kimberly Avenue for a report of shots fired into a house. Upon arrival, it was determined that a white or Hispanic male, possibly wearing a wig, approached the residence and attempted to lure the intended target out of the house before opening fire.

The East Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division arrived and processed the scene and is urging anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have captured this incident on their video surveillance systems to contact Captain Joseph Murgo at jmurgo@easthavenpolice.com.
