A Class Like No Other - The Morgan School
The Morgan School Class of 2020 has persevered through adversity. The curtailing of the fall sports season due to mosquitoes carrying eastern equine encephalitis started their school year, but that paled in comparison to the emptied halls, distance learning, and isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Morgan Class of 2020 was set to graduate on June 10 (after press time) in a non-traditional, semi-private daylong ceremony on The Morgan School fields. To ensure that the public has a chance to celebrate these resilient students, the Harbor News reached out to Clinton Public Schools earlier in the year, when any sort of graduation was unclear, to help assemble this commemorative issue dedicated to The Morgan School Class of 2020.
Special thanks go to Clinton Superintendent of Schools Maryann O’Donnell, Morgan Principal Keri Hagness, and Morgan PawPrint advisor Leslie Chausse for their assistance in bringing this issue to life.
