Families and friends took part in the seventh annual Pumpkin Carving Party at Parmelee Farm on Oct. 26. Pumpkins were provided to be carved, displayed at the farm, and then lit up in the evenings leading to Halloween. Face painting and refreshments were available, as well. The event was hosted by the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce, Parmelee Farm, and the Killingworth Lions Club. Here, Emma, Tom, and Madeline Szwejkowski work on emptying their pumpkins.
