Bank Robber Sought in East Haven, Reward Offered
Police in East Haven are searching for a woman who they say entered a Citizens Bank on Tuesday and demanded money from a teller.
According to police, a middle-aged white female entered the Citizens Bank at 430 Foxon Road, East Haven, at 1:08 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from the North High Street area. She demanded money from one of the teller's stations and then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect did not display a weapon.
She is described as between 45 to 55 years old, wearing a Chicago Bulls hat, Yale jacket, and with red hair or wearing a red wig.
The Connecticut Bankers Association is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of suspect.
