Tuning In to the Clinton Board of Selectmen
The cameras were rolling for the first time during an Oct. 9 Board of Selectmen meeting (BOS). An agreement between the town and Valley Shore Community Television (VSCTV) will allow BOS meetings to be broadcast to the public. The meetings will be broadcast on channel 19 and 1070 and Frontier channel 6089. The meetings will also be available online at www.vsctv.com and the town website.
Currently, the plan is to only video the BOS meetings and perhaps some other significant meetings. However, that use could expand in the future and the town may solicit volunteers to record more meetings. The cost estimate for using VSCTV to record and upload the meetings is around $6,000 a year for BOS meetings.
