Raise the Roof, Roots 4 Relief Holding Build at Bishops

Habitat for Humanity and Raise the Roof, the shoreline habitat connection, is holding a Build at Bishop’s on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bishop’s Orchards Farm Market & Winery, 1355 Boston Post Road, Guilford. There will be a clean up shift from 3 to 4 p.m.

This year’s event is being done with Roots 4 Relief, a local children’s non profit organization.

Volunteers 16 years and older will build exterior walls for use in a future Raise the Roof Habitat for Humanity House in New Haven. Roots 4 Relief will host activities for children and families including building birdhouses, quilt patches, and window boxes that will be gifts for Habitat for Humanity partner families.

The event will take place in Bishop’s Orchards fields at the Little Red Barn.
