Tino, a five-year-old snapping turtle, takes a stroll at Chatfield Hollow Inn during the Killingworth Library Earth Day Fest on April 27. The event, a fundraiser for the library, featured live music, a book sale, local authors, s’mores by the fire, environmental and animal presentations, a pizza truck, and a butterfly tent. Tino is a rescued turtle from The Turtle’s Back, a wildlife rehabilitation, education, and support facility working to preserve Connecticut’s native turtles.
