Branford Parks and Recreation announces the 68th annual Robert Marston Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 13, 11 a.m. at Foote Park. As always, the Town of Branford hunt is sponsored by Branford American Legion, Corcoran Sundquist Post #83. Post members also turn out in force to help load up the hunting ground annually with colorful, candy-filled Easter Eggs and other treats.

The hunt is free for all Branford boys and girls ages 10 and under, just bring your own basket. Parks and Recreation Director Alex Palluzzi counts down kids to take the field in bunny-quick waves of ages four years old and younger; ages five and six; ages seven and eight; and nine and 10 year-olds. The hunt also includes a Food Allergy Division.

A highlight of the hunt is always the arrival of "Floppy" the Easter bunny aboard a classic Branford fire truck, courtesy of Branford Fire Department.

Foote Park is a town park located on Melrose Avenue. Rain date: Saturday April 20, same time and location. For more information, please call the Recreation Department office at (203) 488-8304.
