Lia Coppola Named January 2019 Branford Rotary Student of the Month

Lia Coppola, daughter of Kathryn and Ralph Coppola, is the Branford Rotary Club January 2019 Student of the Month.

Lia Coppola, a junior at Branford High School, was nominated by her teacher Erica O’Brien for excellence in family and consumer science.

Coppola is a member of the national honor society and is the recipient of the horizons award for academic excellence. She is a member of the school’s chemistry club and a volunteer in many school and community events. Her future career goal is to become a teacher.

The Branford Rotary Club meets every Wednesday from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at the Parthenon Diner, 374 East Main Streret, Branford. Guests of members are welcome to attend and membership inquires are encouraged.
