Town of Madison, VFW Sign 50-Year Lease

To the next 50 years: The Town of Madison and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) recently signed a 50-year lease for the VFW property on Lover’s Lane. The prior lease was set to expire in January 2019. Over six months, the town and the VFW negotiated a new lease agreement, which was approved by the Board of Selectmen on Dec. 19, 2018. The new lease agreement last for 50 years at the cost of $1 per year.
