The annual Trees in the Rigging Community Carol Sing & Boat Parade took place the evening of Nov. 25 in Essex. The event started with marching down Main Street to the Connecticut River Museum, where the parade of lighted boats passed by on the Connecticut River. Here, the Essex Island Ferry carries the Grinch down the river.
