Branford Garden Club Plants 300 Daffodils at New Main Street Site

On November 6, a small but mighty group of Branford Garden Club (BGC) members planted 300 Ice Follies Daffodil bulbs on the corner of Main Street and Monroe Streets. Now, they're looking forward to the blooms next spring. 

The request for the daffodil planting was made by area store owners to help extend the beauty of the many daffodil garden BGC plants along Main Street in the town center. Also on Nov. 6, Branford First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove stopped by to visit the BGC members at work.
