11/13/2018 06:51 AMWith help from the public, Branford Police have located a pick-up truck in Hamden involved in a Nov. 4 hit-and-run accident that left a 52-year-old Branford female cyclist seriously injured.
On Nov. 12, in a brief press release updating the investigation, Branford Police Department stated, "The vehicle involved in this case has been located in Hamden. The Branford Police Department would like to thank the public for assistance in locating this vehicle."
No arrest was reported in the press release and the department is continuing to seek the public's help as the investigation continues. Branford police are investigating the accident in conjunction with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit (SCCTU).
As previously reported, the accident occurred on November 4, 2018 at approximately 8:20 a.m., at the intersection of East Main Street (Route 1) and Featherbed Lane. On Nov. 5, police updated the public with a vehicle photo and asked for the public's help in an attempt to locate a 2013 white Ford F250 Pick-Up, bearing CT 8334C2, with damage to the passenger side headlight assembly area.
