League of Women Voters Holds 87th District Debate
Lawn signs tell you whom to vote for, letters endorse one candidate or the other, but there is nothing like checking out the candidates for yourself.
The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Hamden-North Haven is organizing a debate for the 87th District (North Haven) seat in the Connecticut House of Representatives. Participating in the debate will be incumbent Republican Dave Yaccarino and Democrat Theresa Ranciato-Viele on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the North Haven Middle School auditorium, 55 Bailey Road, North Haven. The moderator will be Elise Low, convener of the LWV of the East Shore.
The questions to the candidates will come from the audience (index cards and pencils will be provided at the debate) and will focus on issues pertaining to Connecticut and to North Haven.
