Branford Voter Registration for the Nov. 6 State Election
To vote in the November 6, 2018 State Election, Branford residents can register to vote in person in town as well as on-line through the town website or with the Department of Motor Vehicles. Mail-in voter registration forms can also be requested. The Registrar of Voters Office also announces special voter registration dates and times, including final deadline dates to register in person, online and by mail.
Register in person during business hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) at the Town Clerks Office at Branford Town Hall, 1019 Main St. on any working day; or on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Branford Registrar of Voters Office, 40 Kirkham St. On Tuesday, October 30, the last regular voter registration session will be held at the Registrar of Voters Office from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Registrar of Voters Office will be open on Monday, November 5 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. for an in-person Limited Voter Registration to admit those seeking to vote whose qualifications as to age (become 18 years of age), U.S. citizens, or residents of the municipality was attained since October 30, 2018. Applicants must appear in person with identification to register to vote for this State Election.

www.branford-ct.gov , select Election Information Registrars of Voters in the upper right corner, then click on Online Voter Register.
To request a Mail-In Voter Registration Application please call the Registrar of Voters Office at (203) 483-3998, register online, or print the application off the Town of Branford's website www.branford-ct.gov: under Departments, Town Clerk, and Registrar of Voters. You may mail your application to Registrar of Voters 1019 Main Street/PO Box 150 Branford CT 06405. Registration by mail and online registration mail-in-application for a new voter must be received by the Registrars of Voters (or postmarked) by October 30, 2018; which is also last day for Online Registration for applicants to be entitled to vote in the November 6, 2018 State election. You are not a voter until your completed application is approved and you receive confirmation from the Registrar of Voters Office.

Connecticut residents can register to vote through the DMV at www.dmv.org/ct-connecticut/voter-registration.php through the Online Voter Registration System. To register online, you must have a valid CT driver's license, permit, or photo ID card, and a signature on file with the DMV. When applying online: Complete all the required fields as you go through the application.
On Election Day, Nov. 6, 2018, voters living in District One and District Seven are reminded that those districts continue to have temporary polling places due to renovations.
District One's polling location is in the old gym at Branford High School, 185 East Main St. District Seven's polling location is in the gym at Mary R. Tisko School, 118 Damascus Road (off Christopher Road).
